FujiChrome Velvia 100 is one of the most vivid professional slide films from FujiFilm. It is a high-quality film from the renowned brand. FujiChrome Velvia 100 is specifically designed for landscapes and not portraits due to its saturation. This film has a higher ISO than Velvia 50 so is more forgiving for light. Light your shot or overexpose your shot, it’s great too play with settings but you can also play with lens filters to try and get the exposure correct. 

The difference between Velvia 100 and Velvia 50 is the ISO, ISO differentiates the light sensitivity of the film. The higher the number the more sensitive, low speed films are better suited to bright, natural, outdoor light or studio lighting. The higher the ISO the more grain in the film. Velvia 100 has a little less saturation than Velvia 50, this means portraits are better with this film.

This film is slide film, this means that when the film is developed it prints as a positive instead of a negative. The colours are super bright and saturated, the images will blow you away with how tiny the grain is as it produces such a high quality film.

Velvia 100 is best suited to outdoors so landscapes, macro, street photography are the perfect time to shoot this type of film. The dark shadows and bright light makes  the most out of the velvety smooth grain, drastic colours, and contrast.
